Hiking up the Precipice Trail to the top of Mt. Tom, I discovered this crew of locals: Joe, Mark and Peter. Also spotted Chris and Sally Miller minding the local food sampling table and Annette Compton sketching. National Park Superintendent Rolf Diamant stopped by as did former National Park Ranger Monique Hanson, who will be working at Farm and Wilderness this summer.

Karen kindly demonstrated the “Bounce” dryer sheet anti-mosquito fashion technique.

I know that everyone in Alaska is so interested in our daily goings-on. But, you never know. In fact, we share a problem with
“nuisance” bears. More on that in another post.
