This young female dog, wearing a worn pink collar, was found wandering the area of Maple Street and Golf Avenue and was picked up by Village Police on Tuesday. She needs to go home!
She is now being held at the Woodstock Animal Care Kennel but cannot stay there much longer. She needs to have her owner come and claim her. If no one comes forward, she needs a NEW home.
A technician at Woodstock Animal Care says the dog is very sweet but shy, a bit skittish, and seems to prefer being outside. She appears to be a little bit German Shepard, a little bit something else (Lab?) but is petite — not a puppy — but not too old either. She has a very distinct high-pitched bark and was seen trying to play with another dog just an hour ago.
Any ideas, please email earlybirdtips@yahoo.com We’ll pass along your thoughts to Woodstock Police Dept.
