Fast Eddie’s hot dog stand is open for the summer at its fabulous location OUTSIDE the Village limits next to Woodstock Beverage (the liquor store) on Route 4 at the East End of town.
Many of you know Ed from around town but also from his famous cameo in the Woodstock Farmer’s Market publicity video. He’s the guy who would serve up a daily latte or muffin with the daily Godspeed, “Off to the races!”
So I was disappointed to not be able to get a hot dog on a recent Sunday which led me to inquire about Fast Eddie’s hours. Here they are: Monday through Friday from 11am-3pm. Take a close look at his menu — worth the stop even if you don’t like weiners (and these days we certainly have a thing against some of them!)
Fast Eddie is available on weekends for private parties. His hot dog stand that is, but a certain amount of entertainment is part of the fun. Coming up soon, he’s using his cart to do a private function featuring steamed lobsters, corn on the cob, etc. Prices negotiable.
