Woodstock Police and  CVPS line crew are out on Rt. 106 this evening working to clear a branch from a power line. The downed limb, just past the Woodstock Inn Health and Fitness Center caused a complete power outage to South Woodstock and most of Rt. 106 to the Woodstock Village line. It followed a string of thunderstorms that passed through the area. Power was expected to be back by about 10:30pm according to authorities on the scene.
