We hear that Woodstock’s “Officer Jen” is a bit bruised but okay after her motorcycle hit the sand in South Woodstock the other day. Glad to hear she was back on-duty working at the Woodstock Community Picnic last night.
“Officer Jen” is an asset to this community — having helped me on several occasions while off-duty — and I hope that the Town of Woodstock will find a way to accommodate her so she can complete her course work in order to continue working for us. Otherwise, we may lose her. She is someone who has roots here and understands what community policing is all about. She is also one of the police officers who has stepped up to the plate and gained additional training as an EMT. This is someone you want to be responding when you call 911 for help. Just sayin’!
