Pond Responder Garners DUI

Hartford Police are reporting that a 24-year-old Woodstock man got himself a “driving under the influence” charge last night  after he responded to a friend who apparently needed help getting a vehicle out of a pond.  Police say —  as they always write it — that they ” detected a moderate odor”  on the young man’s  breath.

The incident happened in the Sunrise Circle area of Hartford. The press release was woefully lacking in the nitty-gritty details of whether said vehicle was eventually recovered from the pond.
