The Village Development Review Board gave approval last night to Swift Properties to hold wine tastings in the alley outside Gillingham’s Store.
Swift is the operating company of Gillingham’s Store in central Woodstock Village. The store has an extensive wine selection and its owners and wine specialists hope to increase traffic both to the store and to the downtown area through vendor-hosted wine tastings. The proposal would be for Friday evening tastings from approximately 4pm to 6pm.
The question and request, having been given the thumbs-up from the Village Development Review, now moves to the Village Trustees for their consideration.
