Major get-together Saturday in Woodstock Village. Taste of Woodstock. More wine and food vendors than ever before. Fun sampling and good music. The event runs from 1030am to 830pm. Make sure to come out in the early evening, too (even if you over-sampled earlier in the day) to hear great music. If you’re interested in Vermont wines, this is a great chance to learn about them. My wine sources tell me a lot of vendors are taking part in this event.
Operational Note: Taste of Woodstock will definitely slow down traffic through town as Elm Street will be closed to the Congregational Church and you will find detours presented to you. So…if Taste of Woodstock is not your destination, plan for extra time getting to where you wish to be going. However, if you have the DAY OFF, plan to chill in neighborhood. Of course, bring cash, an appetite and your checkbook/credit card as you’ll also find Woodstock businesses presenting their wares with a simultaneous sidewalk sale.
