Just a couple of notes to report from Tuesday’s Woodstock Selectboard meeting…..
The Town’s loan for the Welcome Center bathrooms is paid off….
Selectboard members have addressed former Ambulance Director Butch Roy’s concerns about not being a volunteer by sending him a private letter outlining their reasons for supporting previous decisions by Ambulance Director Pat Cassidy and Emergency Services Director L.D. Sutherland, Jr. Selectboard Chairwoman Grettie Howe says the letter ends their involvement in the issue….
The Selectboard has approved a smaller make-up of people for the Woodstock Planning Commission, voting to reduce its number from 9 people to 7 people. Apparently, according to Town Planner Michael Brands, it has been difficult to keep 9 people in attendance for the meetings or in filling positions. . The Woodstock Selectboard determined that 7 people would still be adequate to make decisions in the future.
This does not represent all items and decisions made at the meeting. Minutes are available to the public if you’re interested in more detail.
