They’re all heading back to school now, but before we forget about their summer work, here’s a picture of the new bridge that the VYCC built at the Prosper Trailhead of Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park.
Good job and thank you Vermont Youth Conservation Corps!
The bridge will keep hikers out of the wetlands and provide a clear, un-rooted track for x-county skiers this winter.
BTW, Ranger Julia Lynam tells us the VYCC crew also fixed up some stonework in the formal gardens behind the Billings-Rockefeller Mansion and also built that thing called a Skidder Bridge.
Speaking of VYCC, we hear that VYCC Woodstock leader Kat Coons is now hitched! Congrats Kat!
We really don’t care that much about Kim Kardashian’s blingy wedding…but we’d love to see pic’s of yours, which I’m SURE was MUCH more tasteful…and I’m assuming less expensive.
