Swift Water Rescue Operation Successful. No Loss of Life.

Police Chief Robbie Blish reports that a rescue operation during the height of the Irene flooding yesterday at the Riverside trailer Park was successful and everyone is okay( relatively speaking). Hartford Emergency Services Swift Water Rescue Team was over here in Woodstock running the operation.

    Thanks to all emergency personnel for getting our friends at Riverside Trailer Park out safely. We are from California and had a vacation home there for about 5 years that we loved. We come at least every fall and are still planning on returning 9-28. We feel so bad about what happened to Woodstock. Vermont is a special place with special people.
