I am trying to find out if John and Donna Atwood are okay. I tried to phone them, but the phone lines are probably down. The Atwoods live in a farm house at 1 Atwood Lane. I’m not sure if the dirt road by their house, has a route number.
I just spoke to John and Donna’s neighbor. They are fine. She saw them both today. The road is washed out and the power is out up there but the neighbors all are helping each other out, as expected.
We are so relieved to find out exactly what is happening in Woodstock and the road conditions, etc. We have a summer home in West Bridgewater on Laber Rd. off Bridgewater Hill Rd. We figure that those roads are impassable at this moment (8/29 10:30 p.m. But we want to know what is going on and how you all are managing without water, power, etc. So keep things posted here. Your blog is an excellent example of what the internet can do to help people know what is going on. Keep it up. We will be connecting with you every day. Thanks. Jan and Ron Aronson in northern Virginia (where we were lucky that Irene kind of skipped over us on her way North)
