I spoke to my friends in Killington about an hour ago….Killington remains “an island” with NO access in or out on ANY road. They are in the process of repairing a secondary road that will have limited access (narrow) into Bridgewater. I am not sure if you can drive from Bridgewater to Woodstock by going through North Bridgewater (anyone know?) Some families on the Killington Access Rd have power and a few people have generators.

We spoke to road crews this morning (Tuesday) and we hear the priority is to fix the North Bridgewater to Cox Road loop so that it becomes the temporary Route 4. At the rate they are working it might be a few days to a week. If Route 4 is passible to from Killington to the Bridgewater Mill, people should be able to get to Woodstock. The other alternative is to wait at the Bridgewater fire department for a police escort which will take people on Route 4 but we hear the road is barely passible for cars… better if you have Jeep or truck type vehicle.
