Chip Kendall's Water Tank helped everyone get water
Chip Kendall brought his water tank up to Woodstock (where there’s no water) from South Woodstock (where there is water) so everyone could fill up buckets to help flush their toilets, bathe in, and with enough boiling time, make coffee. Thanks Chip!
It was then up to a cadre of volunteers from all over town who got themselves organized (Charlie Kimball who runs the excellently organized Covered Bridges Half Marathon was a presence here) and did the hard labor of loading and unloading huge buckets of water. The volunteers then went door to door to all neighborhoods asking not just if people needed water but if they had any needs at all.

Rep. Alison Clarkson, the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce including Beth Finlayson and Tambrey Vutech were also helping coordinate as was Jackie Fischer and many others.
As all this activity was happening at the Woodstock Elementary School, it appeared as if the entire ServePro New England team had congregated at the Woodstock Inn and Resort to begin mop-up operations. Water was still being pumped out of the Inn’s garage.

We hear it is definitel closed for two weeks, maybe more. But there is no doubt the push is on to get things set right for a fabulous foliage!
