The Town of Woodstock reports that Rt. Four is open to Long Trail in Bridgewater and Long Trail is now providing water and ice. They have also brought baby diapers and formula and left it at the Bridgewater School. Long Trail drove into the Town Hall in Woodstock to make sure the road was passable and to convey the news. Obviously use extreme caution if driving between Woodstock and Bridgewater and note that Route 4 West in West Woodstock is closed in the area of White Cottage to the Woodstock Farmers Market.

If by chance you get any drips of water do NOT drink…testing of the system is ongoing and water may be contaminated.
Plan to attend the 5pm community meeting at the Woodstock Elementary School for official information and an official word on all storm response efforts.
