Woodstock Emergency Services Director L.D. Sutherland, Jr. met yesterday with the Vermont National Guard and asked them for very simple but direct assistance: Troops to help clean up places like Riverside Park and the most hard-hit areas of Woodstock. We are waiting for the request to head up the chain of command.
