You can attend an outdoor sculpture art exhibit (provided annually on the grounds of the Davenport home on Prosper Road) that officially opens this afternoon with a reception and an invitation to bring you own picnic. It begins at 4pm and goes until 7pm.

The organizers know it may not be a high priority but think it might be nice to take a break from Flood Response to enjoy artists work at the Davenports. The stuff is pretty cool. However, Charlet is asking that we DO NOT park on the side of Prosper Road. We are still in the midst of a Irene Flood Recovery and need to keep priority travel and traffic and road space for emergency vehicles and trucks trying to re-construct our infrastrure: This note from Charlet and her hearty welcome and invitation for you to visit their property:
We were just notified NO PARKING ON PROSPER ROAD ..Due to heavy
equipment transporting (major amount)..so we are working out a shuttle from High
School parking lot: to transport community to sculpture fest..beginning at
four.
Woodstock Early Bird has been told that if you park at the Woodstock Union High School parking lot a shuttle service will take you up to Davenport property. Please try to be helpful in reducing traffic in the area while you enjoy the event.
