The West Woodstock Fire Hall #2 now hosts the Woodstock Volunteer and Services Coordination Center.
Our plan is for the Center to be open 7 days per week with:
· Volunteer central
· Housing ‘needs’ and ‘haves’ clearing house
· Location for SEVCA’s representative (see SEVCA info below) (SouthEast Vermont Community Action)
· A regularly staffed counseling center (hours to be determined)
· To meet other needs as they arise.
· A 4500 gallon water buffalo filled w drinking water will be parked there. Bring your own containers
People may come there to volunteer both in the Center and in the community.
SEVCA is providing the following emergency services:
Housing assistance (Rent, utilities, furniture, weatherization)
Clothing vouchers
Food vouchers
School supplies
People MUST meet with Cathi Haley from SEVCA to receive these services. Her office phone number is 295-5215. She will be at the Woodstock Coordination Center (fire hall #2) on
Monday, 3-6 p.m., Tuesday 9-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m.
