FEMA Office Open and Ready to Serve at West Woodstock Grange Hall?

A Woodstock Early Bird informs us that FEMA personnel are already set up and ready to serve at the Grange Hall in West Woodstock.

We were told this field office would not be ready until next week.

Early Bird is heading out there right now to see. We’re told FEMA  wants YOU and YOUR NEIGHBORs to come in and get help — ANY HELP — even if you don’t have a registered number yet.

Also…a Saturday item: Volunteers who would like to help out can check in to Fire Station #2 in West Woodstock beginning  at 10am. The Volunteer Command Center will be open until 4pm. If you have a need also let them know or call Woodstock Dispatch at 457-2337.  Any questions can be fielded through Dispatch — Counseling, Housing, FEMA bureaucracy hand-holding…

Also..HAZMAT debris to Hartford Transfer Station. They’ll be taking stuff until 2pm

    THe Building where FEMA and the clothing pick up is is Grange Hill not Hall
