It’s been two weeks since our encounter with Miss Irene and we hope this morning finds most having gotten some rest and some answers.
Sunday many of us here in Woodstock received coffee, food, music and words to feed our souls as part of the Woodstock Emergency Services 9/11 Remembrance Breakfast and Ceremonies on the Village Green. A thank-you to the organizers. It was a well-organized and delicious event and there were probably 100 or so Early Birds who got up for the 7am – 8:45 am event.
This Woodstock Early Bird deliberately conducted a day a silence on the Blog. We’ll be back later with news and notes to assist you through your lovely day.

Now I know this will sound odd, but I know someone in Norwich that have 3 extra chickens that are now 12 weeks old, They have two folks who have flocks that were going to take them – but don’t really need them. Did anyone lose their flocks of chickens and want some that will start laying in November – I know odd, but I was thinking maybe?? This Family is willing to give them to someone who may have lost a flock in the flood.

Please call the Volunteer Center at 457-9093. I know Jim and Suzy Krawczyk in West Woodstock lost most of their chickens.
