Vermont Sen. Patrick Leahy will be in Woodstock this afternoon from about 1:15pm to 2:30pm to inspect flood damage caused by Tropical Storm Irene.
For those who would like to briefly speak with him or meet him, he is expected to be visiting with Riverside Park mobile home flood victims from about 1:45pm to 2:15pm.
On a related note: Carhartt and Lenny’s Shoes will be at the mobile home park on Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm to provide coats, jackets, clothing and boots to anyone who is a flood victim. This is a wonderful company contribution and is not meant for the general public.
