Sunday: Classical Flute and Piano to Soothe the Soul at UU Church

Although we’re not generally  into the use of the word “pairing” for every little thing these days, we’ll go along with a press release that suggests that a concert to be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 2pm Sunday afternoon will  be a delightful “pairing” with the Art Festival going all weekend on the Village Green.

The U-U Church in Woodstock is just a few steps down north of the Village Green.

Heidi Baxter will play flute. Evelyn Zuckerman will play piano.

Seek refuge. Close your eyes and listen. Enjoy!

The Program:

Johann Sebastian Bach Sonata No. 1 For Flute and Harpsichord

Garbiel Faure Fantasie Op. 79

Francis Poulenc Sonata for Flute and Piano

Paul Hindemith Sonata for Flute and Piano

This performance is free, with donations gratefully accepted at the door. This classical series is sponsored by the North Universalist Chapel Society and all proceeds benefit the church.
