Well, well, well. What do we have here? Apparently, it is what we wimmin folk have always been looking for: The Worthy Man!
Anyone else notice the new sign on the recently fixed-up Stone Building on Mechanic Street? It used to be the old Zack’s Place and now “THE WORTHY MAN HOUSE”
Woodstock Early Bird has made inquiries and only gotten one rather evasive answer from a Town Planner who essentially indicated, “Nothing to see here…move along.” So Woodstock Early Bird moved along. Sort of.
Officially, we’re told it’s just a sign for a private office. We made inquires to the person we believe to be the building’s owner but alas, nothing. But it IS a lovely sign. It reminds us of the “Prince and the Pauper” sign, a place for wayward souls to find shelter and comfort after a long journey. Makes us very thirsty for something on draft that one might procure at YE OLDE ALE HOUSE.
Hmmmmmm?

Love your attitude early bird – you go girl or should I say ‘worthy woman’?

A perfect ale house. Just a hop, skip and jump from the High, Golf, Maple residents who would frequent! The sign is beautiful. Keep us posted.
