Fashion Fabulous! Glad Rags is This Saturday!

Can you say “Fashion Fabulous?!”

The Glad Rags Sale is this Saturday, so clear out your closets. Out with the old and in with the new-ish.

OMG, the clothes I’ve just seen at the Masonic Temple! As ze French would say, “C’est Incroyable!” Incredible. Lots of and lots of clothes are piling up and being sorted by lots of able volunteers. We’re told that this year’s contributions (it’s a fundraiser for local charities) are “better than ever” and include more plus sizes than ever before.  There’s a well-organized men’s section brought to you by “curator” Wayne Thompson.

Also! More explanation marks needed! A  separate women’s “Boutique” area of either new or well-bling’d-out  upper crusty type dresses and coats.

The info: Saturday from 9am-1230pm. Then a break. Then…EVERTHING half off from 1pm-3pm!

Donations are still being accepted during the day at the Masonic Temple until  Thursday evening. For those who contribute at least 10 hours of volunteer sorting work, you’ll  get the “pick-of-the-piles” (Hmmm…funny choice of words…but you know what me mean) at a Friday private pre-sale  event.

The Glad Rag Sale also offers accessories, jewelry and other items (but NO electronics, computers or TV’s).

We’re told the Glad Rags Sale, held twice a year, can raise as much as $20,000  for local charities which may include the Visiting Nurse Association, The Thompson Senior Center and other community groups.
