Operation Pumpkin

20111030-083427.jpg

Operation Pumpkin is underway. The Woodstock Historical Society has generously donated the pre-carved pumpkins used at last nights Spooky Halloween event to the good people of the High Street, Golf Avenue and Maple Street neighborhood.

The re-purposed (?) pumpkins are free for the taking to help “garnish” the porches in anticipation of Village-sanctioned Trick-Or-Treating on Monday night. Come and get a pumpkin for you or your neighbor if you don’t have one. Thanks Woodstock Historical Society (and all the hard-working carver/artists)! Woodstock Early Bird did the pick-up and the pumpkins now available for pick-up at 17 High Street:

The Historical Society just concluded its Halloween event, “Spooky Woodstock” at 9:30 tonight.

At 26 Elm Street, there are several carved pumpkins in two locations….These are pretty cool jack-o-lanterns

Please let the homeowners on High Street, Maple Street and Golf Avenue – Halloween Heaven – know that they are welcome to any and all of these orange emblems of Halloween. Just brush off the snow, and away you go. They should be fine for Monday evening’s gala.

We hope they can be recycled. Thanks!
