DAMAGE TO VEHICLE: Totaled, Severe damage to front end driver’s side sustained
from impact.
INJURIES: Serious injuries with multiple fractures.
HOSPITAL: Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center
 
PASSENGER: Laura Lique AGE: 52

INJURIES: Multiple fractures
WEATHER: Clear, Cold approximately 45 degrees F at the time of crash
ROAD COND: Paved, dry, flat surface, Road conditions not believed to be a
contributing factor to the crash.
 
SUMMARY OF CRASH: On October 31, 2011 at approximately 2:46 PM Hartford Police\Units, as well as the Hartford Fire Department responded to a single vehicle
motor vehicle crash on Vermont Route 14 near the J.A.S. Auto in the Town of Hartford. Upon police arrival first aid was being rendered to the passenger by an unidentified good Samaritan. Officer Muldoon provided first aid to the driver while awaiting EMTs. Hartford Fire arrived on scene extracting the driver from
the vehicle. Once extracted from the vehicle the operator was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center by the Hartford Fire Department. The
passenger was also extracted and based on the injuries was airlifted by DART to DHMC.
 
A witness to the crash reported the vehicle had been traveling north on Vermont Route 14 and for reasons unknown at this time the driver drifted to the right off the road leaving the roadway becoming airborne and crashing into a field just a few feet off the roadway. The vehicle sustained severe damage to the
front driver’s side area as a result of the crash, and had to be removed from the scene by a tow truck. 
The operator was reported to be in serious condition at DHMC with multiple fractures. The passenger was reported to be in critical condition at DHMC with multiple fractures. The driver was unable to provide a detail account of the collision at this time.

    it is really sad… but some how we pulled together and we are going to make it through this mess no matter what it takes..

    Ik my Parent will be ok Im am so greatfull that they are alive and are taken care of. Mom, Dad I love you and cant wait for you to be home and safe again.
