Journalist Dorothy Thompson Movie at History Center

One of the many notable people who lived in our area (Barnard) was journalist Dorothy Thompson.  She was a radio and print reporter of considerable influence who also happened to marry writer Sinclair Lewis.

If you’re  interested in knowing more  about this woman and the legacy of her work, check out a presentation of historic photographs called “Dorothy Thompson: The Woman Who Changed Her Mind”  at the Woodstock History Center on Monday evening.

The  presentation will begin at 7pm.

Margaret Edwards, who put together the documentary about Thompson,  will lead a discussion about her life in Vermont.

Event sponsored by the Woodstock Learning Lab and the Woodstock Historical Society
