Business Survey Participants Needed for Community Block Grant

Woodstock Early Bird is in receipt of this announcement from Charlie Kimbell who serves on the Woodstock Economic Development Commission. The group needs information and participation to help with a grant application for Post-Tropical Storm Irene funding. To participate in the survey, go to the website listed at the end of this announcement:

The Woodstock Economic Development Commission is submitting an application to create a regional business loan fund with more flexible terms and qualifying criteria than other sources.

This loan fund would not only help businesses recovering from the flooding; repayments of its loans would go into a permanent revolving loan fund to assist new and existing businesses in the future.

If you suffered losses from Irene, and you have not been able to secure all the financing needed to cover these losses, please complete this short survey to provide us with information essential for our application for additional funds for businesses in your situation.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS SURVEY IS TO ESTIMATE THE UNMET FINANCIAL NEEDS OF WOODSTOCK BUSINESSES AFTER THE FLOOD.

Your answers will be combined with that of other businesses to estimate total unmet needs. They will not be shown separately.

They are entirely confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of the Economic Development Commission.

The survey should take no more than 5-10 minutes. We need your information ASAP. The application goes in on November 15th.
