The Woodstock Union High School Football Team won the State Championship today, with an impressive 27-7 victory over the Windsor Yellow Jackets. The Wasps returned to the final for the first time in five years to win the Title. They played Windsor High at Castleton State College this afternoon. The community of Woodstock ushered the team into town with boom and circumstance. The bells in town were ringing along with many sirens from our local emergency services vehicles. There were also car honks from many of the supporters as the team came through town. Congratulations to the Wasps for their victory.
