Update: Woodstock Police Chief Robbie Blish report that Lebanon, New Hampshire Police assisted with the arrest of the subject listed below after a traffic stop in N.H. that resulted in the discovery of packaged heroin in the vehicle. Other property belonging to Woodstock residents was also discovered.
The Woodstock Police Department made this posting on their Twitter feed yesterday:
“Charles Bowen, 24, of Quechee arrested for burglaries that occurred in the Rose Hill area the week of Nov. 8th, 2011. ”
He is due in court on December 20th, 2011.
Meantime, Lebanon’s Police Chief reported to Woodstock Early Bird that a a traffic stop in New Hampshire last week that netted drug charges for several individuals also yielded some property related to recent burglaries and break-ins here in Vermont. Chief Alexander did not want to name the individuals as the various cases were still under investigation by Vermont State Police, Hartford Police and Woodstock Police Departments.
