Woodstock Early Birders will remember a recent post about a serious single vehicle crash involving the Liques, a couple from Sharon.
One of the vehicle’s occupants was originally listed in a police report as being in critical condition and airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The other occupant was listed in serious condition and also taken by ambulance to DHMC.
We have gotten limited information from family members that these two parents, thankfully, should be able to survive.
Before rescue workers and the DHART helicopter got to the scene, a first responder, listed only in a police report as a “good samaritan” rendered first aid and may be the reason these people are alive today. We received this text from family member Cortney Lique who wants that good samaritan to know they are beyond appreciative of that person’s response. (Woodstock Early Bird leaves the text as written, unedited):
“Every day my parents r progressing better but it still is going to take a long time. and i just want to say thanks to whoever the witness was tht save my parents life if it wasnt for them they wouldnt hsve msde this far. THANK YOU”
Woodstock Early Bird will keep readers up to date on this incredible story. Who is the mystery good samaritan who remains nameless even to the family?
