King’s Daughters Seek Help with Christmas Dinner Baskets

Woodstock Early Bird has held off on any holiday announcements or promotions until Thanksgiving — especially for events focused on Christmas. But, in this case, the Kings Daughters have asked for some help and they need some time for planning. If you are able, please make a contribution. The information is listed below:

The King’s Daughters of Woodstock will provide holiday cheer by giving boxes of turkey, ham or chicken dinners to local(Barnard, Bridgewater,Pomfret, Plymouth, Woodstock) families in need at Christmas time.

They will also provide toys for the young, gifts for teens and make home visits to area shut-ins. The food boxes and toys/gifts must be reserved in advance and will be available for pickup on December 21st at the Masonic Temple in Woodstock between 9am and noon.

If you are in need or know of someone in the area who is in need, please call Bev Kinne at 457-1078 or Leslie Lewis at 457-4031

Donations to help with expenses are greatly appreciated. Checks can be made payable to King’s Daughters, 171 Dana Road, Woodstock , VT 05091
