A hiking we will go…Two dozen turned out Sunday for a South Woodstock Ramble….Woodstock Early Bird notes the Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix is clearly focused and leading the pack!
The South Woodstock Hiking Club had its third outing Sunday and was able to complete a good climb up 800 feet over 4.5 miles in under two hours. Not that it was a race or anything…. (We’d also like to point out that some of these roads used for the hike were virtually gutted, canyon’ized and made impassable during the Flood of 2011 this past Fall but have been well-restored by Town of Woodstock road crews. Thanks Guys! )
These romps are open to anyone in the Woodstock area who wishes to participate.
