“Fine Works in Miniature” At Artistree

Artistree  held its “Fine Works in Miniature” opening Saturday night to a packed house.

Part of the artist’s challenge for the show was the stipulation that  the work  had to be  smaller than 150 square inches. The  range of  pieces  includes  painting,  sculpture and  jewelry. As part of the idea of supporting local artists and locally made gifts, many of the show pieces are for sale. Here’s a description from the Artistree folks:

Fine Works in Miniature

An exhibit of small works presented for sale during the holiday season.
Entertain your house guests with a visit to the gallery…
you might find local art makes for a great gift!

We will also be holding a silent auction of artist made clocks
during the opening reception and through December 10th.
Be sure to stop by and place your bid on these one of a kind art pieces
