Police Chief Robbie Blish reports to Woodstock Early Bird that a fire call at Primrose Gift Shop in Woodstock Village was cleared earlier today. Blish says the fire started on a porch that is part of the building which juts out over Kedron Brook. Apparently the fire was small in nature and no major damage was visible from the front of the building.
However, the porch is located on the back and firefighters were seen taking gift shop inventory out of the gift shop. We attempted to contact the owner of the building for more information but have not yet heard back. If there are any more details we will post them
The vintage clothing shop “Who Is Sylvia” also shares space in the same structure.
