Sprinkler Leak At Woodstock Terrace

On Friday at about 8:30 p.m., the Woodstock Fire Department and Ambulance responded to a call at the Woodstock Terrace, where a leak in the sprinkler system caused some first-floor water damage, according to Fire Chief Butch Sutherland. On the scene, a large amount of water was pouring out a door at the side of the building, as firefighters were working inside the building. On Saturday morning, Sutherland said the Terrace was “back in business” and ServPro was cleaning up the mess. Sutherland added that at least one resident had to be temporarily removed from their room due to the water issue. He said there was no fire in the building. First responders were there Friday night for about 45 minutes before they headed back to the station.
