PRESS RELEASE
The Woodstock Police Department has completed the investigation of the fatal pedestrian crash that occurred in the Village of Woodstock on October 1, 2011 on Route 4 involving the pedestrian, Hassey Halle (70) of Woodstock and operator of the motor vehicle, Richmond Maxham (71 yoa) of Bridgewater VT.

Upon review by the Windsor County State’s Attorney it has been determined that a charge of Negligent Operation is warranted in this case.
Richmond Maxham (71) turned himself in to the Woodstock Police Department on 01/18/2012 and was cited to appear in VT District Court in White River Jct. on March 13 , 2012 to answer to the charge of Negligent Operation, Title 23 VSA 1091(a).
