So. Culinary Types. Foodies. Anglophiles. You may be interested to know that “pop” TV Chef Gordon Ramsay will be “in the house” in and around Windsor this weekend. Well, to be sure, we haven’t received confirmation that the affable remedial restauranteur will be HERE but we have confirmation that his film crew WILL BE.
Woodstock Early Bird checked in with Windsor’s Harpoon Brewery and has discovered that oh, about 3pm or so tomorrow, Gordon Ramsay’s film crew will be checking in — with or without the STAR in tow.
We hear from several sources that Mr. Ramsay is actually in Windsor to shoot a segment at The Juniper Hill Inn.
Mr Ramsay has apparently won more than a dozen Michelin stars for his restaurants and cuisine. Woodstock Early Bird has enjoyed his TV segments which show him going in to down-and-out eateries and helping them “rehab” — from food upgrades to staffing to decor.
The drama of life in the food business cannot be underestimated.
Kudos to Harpoon Brewery and The Juniper Inn for drawing the attention of Mr. Ramsay. Hopefully for all the RIGHT reasons. You know, excellence, ambiance, catering to the wanton needs of customers.
