Checks can be made payable to “Ann and Albert Bassett”. On the memo line write: “Farm Donation” They can be mailed to Lake Sunapee Bank, P.O. Box 30, Woodstock, VT 05091″
Woodstock Emergency Services says Rep. Alison Clarkson will be a contact for organizing assistance for Woodstock’s Bassett family which lost their dairy farm home to fire late last night. There has not been official word as yet about the cause of the fire.

Thanks Alison and WEB- I wondered how to help, As we know, after Irene, Alison was one of many in the Village People who brought hope can-do and resources quickly to those in need. Getting in touch with Alison is not always easy because she is on the go. As far as I know she is not on facebook. Calling her at home might be the most reliable way to be in touch.
