Vermont State Police Press Release
Bethel, VT 02/22/2012 – On February 20 at approximately 5:54PM the Vermont State Police received a call regarding a possible suicide death on Creek Road in Bethel, VT.
Detectives with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations responded to the scene and through the course of the investigation learned that Alister Howe, age 18 of Bethel, sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head using a revolver. Howe was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy.
Howe’s death does not appear suspicious, however the investigation is on-going, pending the results of the autopsy.
