Here in Douglas, Alaska (where WEB is temporarily roosted) folks who want to be able to keep a local post office in their community organized a rally this past week to ask Congress to make sure there is money to keep smaller post offices around the country operating.
Woodstock Early Bird’s Gareth Henderson covered the big meeting at the large White River Junction facility a month or so ago. But, the folks in White River Junction took it to their really local downtown WRJ post office yesterday to show support for what they emphasized is a postal SERVICE.
