Woodstock Early Bird knows spring or summer is really, really here with this annual free-for-all plant scramble! May we mention that early birds are usually rewarded well for their efforts:
This Saturday, May 26, the 19th annual Woodstock Garden Club Plant Sale will be held on the lawn of the Norman Williams Public Library in Woodstock from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will be annuals, perennials dug from gardens in this area, homemade gourmet food items, help from master gardeners, and hot dogs for lunch.
Profits from this sale are used for civic beautification (flowers) in Woodstock, books for the Norman Williams library and libraries in the schools, scholarships for WUHS graduates studying horticulture, and support for organizations such as Change the World Kids, Thompson Center, Esqua Bog and others. We hope to see you there.
