This yellow stick – we will call it a cone – has been placed on High Street for a reason: Caution.

Please slow down, please be careful, please don’t use this street as a racetrack to avoid Village traffic. Please don’t use this street as a place to take out your sublimated road rage or a place to make up for lost time if you are late for work, your work-out or getting the kids to school.

The yellow cone is actually attached to High Street. It is benign.However, if you fly around any number of blind curves expect that people who live here will not be as benign or as quiet as this little CAUTION cone. You will either hit the residents of High Street or hear from them.

Thanks for staying slowly to the left or right of the CAUTION cone which, BTW, indicates a crosswalk.
