10am-3pm: Trek to Taste is ON!

Β Trek to Taste is still ON despite rain, rain, rain!

Get your fave 100% waterproof gear and rubber boots or “boat shoes” and head up to Mt. Tom for lots of walks, hikes, activities and food sampling! Woodstock Early Bird loves “goal-oriented” exercise! πŸ™‚

Only changes, according to Sustainable Woodstock’s Sally Miller: NO South Peak activities. NEW LOCATION for food sampling, etc. is the “CABIN” aka the “Nordic Hut” accessed on dirt roads within the National Park.

Check-in and guided hike information (and kid activities) is at the National Park Forest Center — that is the relatively NEW LEED-certified conference building accessed via a hard right on a dirt road once you pass through the “gates” to the Park on Elm Street. We’re sure lots of rangers and other volunteers will be there to assist.
