Donors Help Woodstock Early Bird Fly!

Good Morning Woodstock Early Birds….

We wanted to check in to let you know that our campaign asking donations for Woodstock Early Bird is going well.

In two weeks, we have been able to raise @ $1300 from individual donors!

The donations vary from a “Sparrow Level” of $25 to a Texas-sized “Road-Runner” level of $365!

We are most appreciative of the 20 Early Birds who either sent a check  or used our PayPal button to make their donation with a credit card.

Where does this money go?

It goes to make our daily and up-to-the-minute connections to you possible. Most recently, we got you the news of the Bentley’s Restaurant fire within minutes of the actual event.

We have various tools at our disposal — from hard-line phone and laptop at the office to a field Ipad to our smart phone.  All of these are used daily depending on “conditions” in which we seek out all our Woodstock Early Bird “worms.”

So, for those who are thinking of making a donation (we appreciate your participation!),  here’s a bit of a break-down of where your donation might go:

$25 — pays for one month of Ipad wireless connectivity (Obviously, we need 12 months of connectivity!)

$50 — pays for two weeks of gas for chasing stories (Early Bird walks in the Village but sometimes we need to literally get “into the field”)

$100 — pays for one month of office internet and hard-line telephone

$250 — pays for one month office rent

$365 — pays for a year of Woodstock Early Bird daily news at a rate of $1 per day (Even your cup of coffee costs more!)

As a result of the generosity of our recent donors, Woodstock Early Bird was able to pay several months rent, wireless, and telephone bills.

Thank you very much!  Join other Woodstock Early Birds: Donate Today!
