VIOLATION: Theft
SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 7-28-12 the State Police responded to the Robert Frost
Stone House Museum for a reported theft. Investigation revealed that a small
gold medallion bearing an image of Robert Frost had been taken from a display
case. The medallion is approximately 1″ in diameter. It is uncertain when the
medallion was taken. The medallion was placed in the museum in 2003. The
museum contains reproductions of Frost’s literary works and some historical
information about the author’s life. The medallion was the only item of any
monetary value in the museum. It was noticed missing from a display
case on 7-27-12.
