Everything takes time, particularly when it comes to design review and zoning. We accompanied the Village Development Review Board on a site visit to “First Impressions” salon in Woodstock yesterday so the Board could visualize proposed changes Brenda Benoit-Blakeman would like to make to her building.
On a site visit, no business can be discussed and no rulings made. This visit was informational only to compare survey charts with the look of the building itself.
Woodstock Zoning Administrator Michael Brands was on hand along with the Board’s Jim Mills leading the expedition. They are particularly interested in how a proposed wheelchair access ramp for clients will fit into the existing structure and how it may impact neighbors and their property.
The group meets again on the issue, in formal session, on Wednesday August 8th at 7:30pm at the Town Hall.
