We’ve just checked in with Woodstock Police who have nothing for us on the power situation. They were told the same as others-some link to the National Grid (known as The Grid) is not working.
A Woodstock Early Bird reported a conversation with GMP in which they told her they hoped to restore power soonish, hopefully by 900ish…
Woodstock Police do know that the outage is not due to anything local – like an accident.
However there was an accident earlier this evening on Route 4 by White Cottage. Woodstock Police say one vehicle was stopped by the sewer pump station and another vehicle rear-ended that car.
At least one person was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
