The Vermont State Police in Royalton would like to remind the public that the speed limit on RT 107 from the bridge construction in Bethel west to the junction of Rt 100 in Stockbridge is posted at 40 mph. The limit has been reduced due to the damage from Irene. Although several portions of the road have been repaired there is still intermittent road construction occurring. It is expected that the speed limit will stay at 40 mph until sometime next year.
Please slow down, do not drink and drive and wear your seatbelt.
With the upcoming Labor Day Holiday approaching extra patrols will be out.
