We’ve been in touch with Woodstock’s Joanne Boyle who is a proud delegate at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
She ran into an old friend in the hall, a man she says inspired many to get involved in politics. (That would be former Vermont Governor Howard Dean, also former head of the Democratic National Committee).

It warms my heart to learn that Joanne and Howard, both activists and real Vermonters in my mind (despite being born elsewhere), are old friends. The Democratic Convention was so very inspiring, I look forward to hearing Joanne’s take when she returns- perhaps you will interview her for WEB.
